Pneumatic - Grease/Zerk Fittings

Grease fittings are desirable for some applications. Ball bearings are pre-greased. Powder metal bushings are oil dipped. All wheels with roller bearings are supplied with grease fittings. The illustrations (at right) identify standard positioning of straight and angular zerks. Grease is inserted in by downward pressure on the steel ball check inside the fitting. This grease lubricates the bearing internally by centrifical force as the wheel rotates.
	Straight Grease Fitting in Tube - standard straight grease fitting is mounted into an embossed steel bearing tube.	Angular Grease Fitting in Tube - used in wheel applications where a straight fitting would be difficult to reach.
