Hub Styles - Hubs for Pneumatic Wheels
There are two basic hub styles in use to meet all product requirements, Offset and Symmetrical.

16A - Symmetrical Hub Style
Symmetrical Hub Style
The most common use for a symmetrical style is for "fork type" applications. This hub is composed of two deep drawn discs of identical configuration equally spaced from center line that are welded together. Standard tube diameter is 1-1/2". For heaver duty applications a 1-5/8" diameter is available.

16B - Offset Hub Style

Offset Hub Style
Hub will protrude past the tire sidewall to provide clearance between product and tire. When tire clearance from the product is necessary, the offset hub style is generally used. Axle and hub will not protrude past the tireÕs sidewall. See 16B. This design helps minimize damage to walls, doorways, etc. and protects the axle rod.

  HUB Paint Finish
Standard paint finish is powder coating. Common colors are aluminum or white. A variety of special colors are also available.
