Applications requiring drive wheels need special attention and are not considered standard, thus minimum runs are needed based primarily on availability of components.

For, Light Duty Applications
Drive gear with gear tire is shown at right. The gear tire drive applies torque directly to the tire eliminating the necessity for special parts needed if driven through hub.

For Medium and Heavy Duty Applications
For heavier duty drives a keyway, pin, gear, drive stamping, DD drive, hole pierced disc, hex drive or shaped axle method of transmitting power may be used.
