Offset Hub Style

The offset style is generally used when the wheel is assembled in an end axle mounting application. The inside hub of the wheel normally will protrude past the tire sidewall by using a higher convexed dome or an extended steel tube. This feature provides for clearance between product and tire.

The outside hub of the wheel has a less convex configuration. Hub with axle end inserted and fastening device (axle cap, cotter pin, etc.) attached will not protrude past the tire's sidewall. This feature helps minimize damage to walls, doorways, etc.

A choice of bearings are available. Arc welded tubes are a must for maximum strength requirements. Spacer tubes are useful for various light and medium applications.

Symmetrical Hub Style
The symmetrical style, is commonly used when the wheel is assembled in a caster type application. Two deep drawn discs which are equal-distant from centerline are used. Outer edge of bearing will in most cases protrude beyond tire side wall.
