| For heavy
duty applications a tube is welded to the discs. Bearings are
pressed into the tube. |
For medium
duty, a wheel with bearings pressed into the discs is the standard
and common type recommended. Other medium-duty hubs shown below,
are additional methods of reinforcing standard hubs to take excessive
shock or side thrust. |
Steel tube is welded 360% to both discs. Heavier gauge steel
used in discs provides added protection to bearings. Permits
bearing replacement if necessary. A must for maximum strength.

| Each
disc is extruded to accept press fit of many styles of bearings.
Well suited for most applications. |
Wheel
discs receive support internally with the aid of a steel
spacer tube which fits snugly within the welded disc halves.
